In Memoriam

Painted in my ancestral hometown of Corinaldo. My Father took a picture in the early 1950s while serving in the Air Force and visiting the Italian village his father emigrated from. I’ve always loved that faded old black and white, and his notation in the lower right, “Thats Charlie.” I went there last year and found the spot where he stood while taking the picture. This painting is that view. My Father passed away in early 2019 and this painting is dedicated to his memory.
