The 1920s “roared” after the tragedy of the 1918 pandemic, as well as WWI. Once society got past those difficult days, the arts flourished. Opulent early 20th-century theaters like this one in Atlanta represent the exuberance of the era. Hopefully the 2020s will experience a similar flowering, when better days arrive.
