Better Late Than Never

I started this painting at the Wayne Plein Air Festival last May. The subject is a well-known equestrian facility. As sometimes happens in this business, I didn’t get to finish the painting as I was unceremoniously escorted from the nearly empty parking lot by martinets in security costumes. A monument to powder blue.
