Elm Street Life, a historical treasure ●

Camden on Canvas. Twenty-two artists spent a weekend painting en plein air throughout Camden, culminating in an auction benefiting our town library. The library relies on fundraising for a significant portion of its annual budget, and it is truly one of the finest local libraries I know of. It’s also a center of community life hosting all kinds of events; book readings, lectures, art exhibits, films, yoga, children’s events, and open-air amphitheater performances of music and plays through the warmer months.
These three colorful wood frame buildings featured in my painting have survived intact from another era and contribute to the town’s historical legacy.
