Pigeon’s Last Stand ●

Several years ago I read about a plan by the freshly-minted mayor of London to rid Trafalgar Square of its pigeon population. The simple plan was to ban the pigeon food stand that had existed through 3 generations in one family. After a large outpouring of support for this popular vendor, the plan was abandoned. I’m not particularly fond of pigeons, but I do like a victory for the underdog, or bird.
