This was painted on the SEPTA Main Line Railway Platform at Wayne PA, during a steady rain. Although you can still buy train tickets in the depot, it’s mostly used today as Mad Anthony’s Cafe, which provided a perfect occasional respite from the downpour, coffee and sandwiches, and a hand dryer which served nicely as a painting dryer between layers of watercolor washes.
